	For the past two decades the Salvation Army of Hayward has provided a Thanksgiving meal for thousands of people in the East Bay who otherwise would not have been able to enjoy the fellowship and food that is so much a part of this holiday. This year due to the closure of Centennial Hall, the Thanksgiving dinner will be held in multiple locations in partnership with eight local churches.
	In order to manage the distribution and serving of the Thanksgiving meals, free tickets will be available to ensure everyone is served. The tickets will be available at the locations shown by clicking on the "Free Tickets & Locations" link.
	The Thanksgiving meal will be served from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Thanksgiving day, November 26th, 2009. All locations will serve during the same hours.
	We encourage those who have transportation to go to the location indicated on your free ticket. If you are unable to get to the proper location, then transportation will be provided to several of the venues from Centennial Hall. Click on the "Transportation" link to see a list of the sites served by the buses and vans.

	While it is a joy and blessing to be able to provide this Thanksgiving dinner for people in our community, it will require the generous giving of nearly $30,000 to cover the costs. Please consider sharing in the financial support of the dinner by clicking on the "Donations" link.
